From October 16 to 17, 2014, Dr. Lu Xianping was invited to participate in the 2014 international symposium on chemistry and life sciences "opportunities and challenges in the research and development of new medicines for infectious diseases and cancer" held at Jiangyin CIBR conference center and gave a speech entitled "Discovery of an Orally Active Subtype-Selective HDAC Inhibitor, Chidamide, as an Epigenetic Modulator for Cancer Treatment " at the symposium. At the same time, we discussed the latest development of new cancer drug research and development with top researchers from the United States and China at the seminar. This meeting is jointly organized by ACS Shanghai chapter and E.J.Corey institute of Biomedical Research. The aim of the meeting is to bring together scientists from various disciplines to facilitate the development of science and accelerate industrial application.
